Lathem's Windows CE-based time clocks require updating before August 31, 2025
All Windows CE-based time clocks can be updated remotely, except for the Model PC600. This does not affect any of the current Android based time clocks.
The model PC600 will reach end-of-life on August 31, 2025, and will no longer be able to connect to PayClock Online software. Lathem is offering existing PayClock Online customers with a model PC600 a significant discount to upgrade to the current replacement model PCEXPRESS. The PCEXPRESS is a plug-in-play replacement for the PC600, with higher performance, available Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity, and uses the same employee badges as the PC600 for a seamless employee experience. Use the link below to order your replacement PCEXPRESS time clock(s) at this special discounted price, including fast free shipping.
Why is this happening?
Microsoft Azure is the hosting provider for PayClock Online software. Microsoft is ending support for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 security protocols for Azure on August 31, 2025. These older security protocols are used by our prior generation Windows CE-based time clocks, and must be updated or replaced as shown below.
