FR700 - A Closer Look
Time & attendance and access control are entering a new era.
Lathem proudly offers its new FaceIN face recognition system. This
device uses 3D imaging technology to enhance security, eradicate
"buddy punching" and provide a contactless alternative to current
biometric devices. These elements combined make Lathem's FaceIN the
most intelligent human verification system available.
With FaceIN (Model FR700), employees simply look
into the terminal and within seconds they are identified, clocked
in/out or admitted into secure locations.

There's no need for employees to touch the unit, making it ideal for environments concerned with optimizing hygiene. It also eliminates the need for cards, badges and the possibility of "buddy punching", when employees clock in for each other.
This system includes powerful desktop software for editing, running reports and exporting to popular payroll software including QuickBooks. It automates payroll calculations, reducing clerical and data entry costs.
The Technology
Lathem's FR700 uses a unique three dimensional two-camera system paired with a facial mapping algorithm. Users must first register their face with the device. During this process, the system records key facial dimensions.
Then, when a user clocks in, the device instantly recalls their unique features and allows them secure access.
Superior biometric accuracy
The FR700 is not "fooled" by glasses, hats, changes in hairstyle or facial hair, or photographs of registered users.
Even in testing with identical twins, the FR700 was able to differentiate between the registered and unregistered twin.
The FR700 can be used with Lathem's PayClock Time & Attendance Software combined with access control.
