LATHEM INTRODUCES POWER-PACKED DATA COLLECTION TERMINAL

The New Model PC3500 Offers Big Business Features and Rugged Construction

Atlanta, GA (October 8, 1999) --- Lathem's new PC3500 is a full-featured data collection terminal designed to capture time, labor and job data for its PayClock Pro Time and Attendance System. Each PC3500 is powerful enough to track up to 600 employees and thousands of transactions before polling. Terminals can be connected to the user's PC via RS-232 or an RS-485 network. The terminal also offers an optional internal modem to support installation in remote locations. Powerful features of the terminal include employee badge validation and department transfer validation ensuring employees perform proper transactions at the terminal. The PC3500 also empowers the employee with value information including total worked hours for the pay period, and the time of their last punch. The supervisor is also empowered by the PC3500 by providing features such as punch restriction override and punch editing directly at the terminal. Latehm's PC3500 is the first in a line of powerful new data collection terminals for time and attendance.
