ATLANTA, Ga. – October 13,
2003 – Lathem Time

announced the launch of ShiftPlan®
PRO, an employee scheduling tool that allows companies to plan
and print employees’ schedules with just a few mouse clicks.
ShiftPlan PRO, which integrates
with Lathem’s No. 1-selling timekeeping system for small business,
PayClock®, and Intuit’s QuickBooks® Pro
and Premier, is an powerful scheduling system, allowing users
to create staff schedules in seconds and avoid scheduling conflicts.
With ShiftPlan PRO, users can schedule staff weeks, months,
or even years in advance, allowing for better planning and avoidance
of staff shortages.
Among its benefits, ShiftPlan PRO lets users produce clean,
professional-looking schedules for up to 250 individual daily
shifts and up to 500 employees; schedule by department or position;
email and produce PDF schedules; create scheduled-to-actual
and tardy reports; analyze employee punch trends to help reduce
overtime pay and payroll costs; eliminate redundant data entry;
and save time.

ShiftPlan PRO builds upon Lathem’s ShiftPlan EZ product adding
robust scheduling capabilities such as sick and vacation reporting,
custom staff schedules, custom queries, on-call status, and
schedule exporting to other applications such as Microsoft Excel.
Employee names can be entered manually or automatically imported
from PayClock EZ, PayClock PRO or QuickBooks Pro/Premier Editions
2003. Once employee names are in ShiftPlan PRO, the user
defines shifts and builds employee schedules.
