LATHEM TIME ANNOUNCES A
LOW-COST, EASY AND ACCURATE TIME AND ATTENDANCE SOLUTION FOR
ADP CUSTOMERS
ATLANTA, Ga. – July 20, 2004 --
Lathem Time Corporation, one of the world’s leading
designers and manufacturers of time and attendance products
for small business, today announced that its No. 1-selling
automated timekeeping system, PayClock® EZ, shares data with
Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP)® (NYSE: ADP) products.
This exchange of critical data helps small businesses manage
their business more efficiently – allowing customers to
change payroll providers without changing their clock and
buy the system rather than renting it.
Our PayClock system offers ADP clients a
flexible solution for managing time and attendance,” said
Philip Seagraves, director of business development at Lathem
Time. “PayClock ships standard with interfaces to the most
popular ADP payroll services, which allows employers to
improve their payroll and timekeeping efficiency and spend
more time running their businesses.”
PayClock EZ is the No. 1-selling time and
attendance system for small business with well over 20,000
installations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The
PayClock EZ system is currently available at more than 2,000
retail locations, including Office Depot and Staples super
stores for less than $500. The low purchase price offers
payroll clients a more affordable total solution than
reoccurring monthly lease models offered by some payroll
providers.
“Our clients say they like the low
up-front price and low-cost optional services,” Seagraves
said. “Even the annual support agreement is a bargain. With
unlimited toll-free support and full hardware coverage,
including next day shipment of replacement terminals, the
plan is currently only $99 per year for most customers.”
PayClock's automation reduces payroll
preparation time by up to 80 percent and eliminates
inaccuracies associated with manual calculations, saving up
to 3 percent in payroll costs. The integration allows
companies to easily share employee hours with ADP
applications without having to re-key information in both
systems. “This automatic data transfer prevents data errors,
improves overall efficiency and productivity, and allows
small businesses to concentrate on their core competencies,
instead of spending time on administrative processes such as
payroll and timekeeping,” Seagraves said.
