History:
Lathem Time Corporation was founded in 1919
by George Lathem and his son, Louie Lathem, Sr. as the southeast
distributor for the Simplex Time Recorder Company. In 1947 the
company manufactured its first time recorder designed by Harrison
Hooper. To date, the company remains a family-owned and operated
business through four generations.
