ATLANTA (July 05, 2011 ) - Lathem today announced its Catch the Wave Road Show, an opportunity to bring the newest, most revolutionary advancement in time & attendance and access control to dealers and customers in their own backyards. Lathem will visit eight cities across the US, from Atlanta to San Francisco, over a three-month period, to demo FaceIN™ and show why it's the most breakthrough time clock to ever hit the market.
"We are so excited to take FaceIN on the road and to give dealers and prospective customers an opportunity for hands-on interaction with the product," said Tony Burks, Lathem's product marketing manager. "FaceIN is the most reliable biometric system available today. It's easy to use and delivers superior accuracy over biometric fingerprint readers, which can fail due to readability issues. It is also a more affordable alternative to high-priced hand geometry readers."
The eight city locations and dates are:
- Atlanta, GA: (July 28th)
- Chicago, IL: (August 8th)
- Baltimore, MD: (August 15th)
- New York, NY: (August 22nd)
- Dallas, TX: (August 25th)
- San Francisco, CA: (August 29th)
- Los Angeles, CA: (September 1st)
- Miami, FL: (September 8th)
At the seminar and demonstration, attendees will learn about FaceIN's product portfolio expansion, current desktop and new hosted software, Lathem's trade-up program, support plans & services and a new dealer co-op program. They will also get to see Lathem's new PC600 terminal.
With FaceIN, employees simply look at the device and within seconds they are identified, clocked in/out or admitted into secure locations, making it one of the most intelligent human verification systems on the market.
FaceIN's touch-less operation makes it ideal for any business, but especially those concerned with hygiene, such as food service or healthcare. Joe DeSalvo, director of Dining Services for West Virginia-based Aladdin Food Management, said, "FaceIN keeps employees from spreading bacteria and germs, which is critical in our industry. It also prevents buddy punching and makes it easier for managers to pull time records for payroll."
FaceIN is available through a worldwide network of Lathem authorized resellers. Detailed product information can be found on Lathem's website at learn more about FaceIN
